Everyday Practices for Preventing Problematic Behaviors in Pre-K is a practical, evidence-based training that helps early childhood educators proactively reduce challenging behaviors through strong relationships and effective classroom design. Rooted in the Pyramid Model’s Tier 1universal supports. This course focuses on building warm connections with children, establishing predictable routines, and creating engaging, well-organized learning environments. Participants will learn simple, everyday strategies—such as positive interactions, visual supports, and emotional coaching—that promote self-regulation, cooperation, and a positive classroom climate. Educators will leave with a clear toolkit for preventing behavior issues before they occur and supporting all children’s social–emotional success.
