This particular training is part 2, so if you have not attended the part 1 training, Everyday Practices for Preventing Problematic Behaviors in Pre-K, it is strongly recommended before registering for this training. Growing Greatness (Part A) focuses on Tier 2 strategies from the Pyramid Model that support young children who require targeted instruction in social and emotional skills. Building on Tier 1 everyday practices, this session guides early childhood educators in teaching emotional literacy, friendship skills, and prosocial behaviors such as taking turns, sharing, helping, cooperating, and using kind language. Participants will leave with practical tools to create small group activities and intentional teaching moments that foster emotional growth and positive peer relationships in the Pre-K classroom.
